I have used my last plastic shopping bag. As 2016 approaches, one of my goals is to stop using or allowing retailers to use plastic shopping bags for my groceries and items.

RIP Scott Weiland. In the end, I suppose it was a miracle he made it to 48 years. After a life blessed with incredible talent and cursed by unstoppable drug use, it is time to reminisce.

Juniper and Monolith has long been a popular location in Joshua Tree National Park. Located in the Jumbo Rocks area, many photograph it throughout the day. Because I camp in Joshua Tree every Christmas, I often have a chance to photograph it when the light is right.
