Along San Diego’s Point Loma Coast is beautiful Sunset Cliffs Natural Park. South of the neighborhood of Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs is a wonderful place to catch the last moments of the day from a crest above the Pacific Ocean. There are too many overlooks and interesting spots to count. While it can be crowded at times, there are plenty of locations for photographers to make interesting photographs.

Santa Ana winds bring to San Diego heat and a lack of clouds. The onshore flow is pushed deep into the Pacific. This is normally the time to put the camera away, but I have rather enjoyed making impressionistic images in this weather.
