This collection are My Favorite Photographs of 2011. Most of these images were taken in the last 3 months of the year, and I found that interesting.
SC2 – A sunset view of Ross Rock (Birdshit Rock) during the Spring in San Diego’s Sunset Cliffs Natural Park.
SD47 – A beautiful night view of Highway 163 and Downtown San Diego from the El Prado Bridge.
Moment – View of the cemetery and Mt. Williamson in Manzanar.
Hale Fenceline – The fenceline on Hale Farm in Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Blue Hen Falls and Cascade – One of Ohio’s best waterfalls, in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The fall can sometimes have minimal water, but in this rainstorm there was plenty of water volume to create a beautiful scene from the creekshed.
Poor Lizard – I travelled all the way to my front yard for this image. A Great Egret found a lizard in the hedges. Poor lizard!
Sunset, Moon, Venus – Beautiful view of sunset with the Moon and Venus in twilight, above Scripps Institute of Oceanography.
Orange Ghosts – A sunrise view of the Temple Rock formation in Joshua Tree National Park.
HIdden Cave – Located in Joshua Tree National Park, this is an amazing and carefully protected rock art site, one of the best pictograph sites in California. Under no circumstances will this be location be revealed.
JT27 – Star Trails above the Juniper and Monolith formation in Joshua Tree National Park.
Sunkissed Revisited – An artistic rendering of the beautiful Sunkissed rock formation in Joshua Tree National Park.
Channels – One of many rock and sea channels in San Diego’s beautiful Windansea beach.
I hope you enjoyed my favorite photographs of 2011. Thanks for viewing and reading!
