Many people consider AC/DC one of the greatest rock bands of all time. This blog is not one of them.
This blog will hesitantly admit to enjoying some of their work1.
Making fun of AC/DC is enjoyable because they have basically shown no development in their music for 45 years. Some bands show consistent development and artistic creation over their lifetimes. AC/DC live in an artistic time machine.
So, to rile up some of my friends and make fun of Angus’ stupid school outfit, let’s do something simple.

It should also be mentioned: 3 of their albums also have “Rock” in the title. Their last album, inexplicably, has 4 songs with “Rock.” AC/DC is not just out of ideas. They only had about 3 ideas to begin with.
It should also be pointed out that my Yoast SEO WordPress plugin has downgraded this post because 13 consecutive sentences start with the same word (Rock, of course). Thanks AC/DC!
Which brings one last question to all this: How pissed off was AC/DC when Def Leppard put “Rock of Ages” on their Pyromania album?

I never listened to THAT much AC/DC but that Def Leppard song is one of my favorites – and from their best album, too. 😉
….and yet they fill large venues! Perhaps it has more to do with the attitude generated as opposed to originality? (not a big fan myself)
AC/DC filling large venues is why the 2020 Pandemic has happened, now we have solved it.
Coming to think of it… at least they’re consistent. They stayed on the path that we all wish Metallica would have stayed on after …Justice! 😉
