In January 2010, I spent 10 days in Utah with a quick stop in Nevada. We visited all five Utah National Parks, Goblin Valley State Park in Utah, and Valley of Fire State park in Nevada.
Temperatures were very cold – daytime highs often not reaching above 15 degrees and dipping below 0 degrees on several nights.
It was cold enough that my film camera seized up and eventually refused to turn on. It eventually worked when things warmed up. My digital camera gear worked, even in the super cold conditions.
