I wanted to show some of the images that I have uploaded to my website, but haven’t put into any blog posts. This time, I will let the images (and the captions) do more of the talking.
Photography has been a little slower for me during the pandemic, but recently we have had some good weather in East San Diego County, including the return of the monsoon conditions this Summer 2021 that we have sorely missed.
In no particular, I hope you enjoy these Summer 2021 images and I hope to share more soon.
ME74 – a cloud glows in evening light. Santee, California.SDRP26 – from the Highland Valley Trail in San Dieguito River Park. One of my friend Alex’s favorite spots.SDRP27 – another view from the Highland Valley Trail in San Dieguito River Park.LM139 – looking South along Laguna Crest from Stephenson Point in beautiful monsoon conditions.ME77 – A clearing in a monsoonal storm over the Laguna Mountains, with a brief break between rainshower cells blowing in from the desert to the mountains of San Diego County.LM152 – another in my collection of beautiful images from Kwaaymii Point, this time as a monsoonal storm cell moves Northwest. Rain got very heavy just a couple minutes after this image.LM146 – taken looking North to Northeast from Garnet Peak, one of the best views in San Diego County. The view is over Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the valley of Borrego Springs.ME92 – beautiful clearing storm clouds along Sunrise Highway in the Laguna Mountains. The rain was so heavy a couple minutes earlier, I had to pull over. Summer 2021’s monsoons sure beat what we have seen the last couple years.
