My July 2026 Photo of the Month is WND915, another in a long-term series of photographs at San Diego’s Windansea Beach.

WND915 Background
When all else fails, it is back to Windansea Beach I go.
I actually traveled this month! But, I didn’t come up with anything that stood out to me. There was time in 7 States this month, in fact. Yet, I am back to defaulting to San Diego, which I suppose is for the best.
The mornings are still my preference, when it is quieter and less crowded. The surf was hitting the sea stacks, but when weighed against my longer exposures, this was the look I think came back.
The Summer is when I get a bit of photography writer’s block. Being that San Diego has a mild climate year-round, Summer has become my least favorite.
Until then, you get a little of what I have done before. Some of this is a little to get me by, month-by-month, until the seasons I enjoy the most. Perhaps with a conjectured good rain season coming, there will be more to enjoy and share.
As always, thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed the image.
