There are a lot of Content Management Systems around, but I believe that WordPress is the best platform in the world. I learned to write websites by hand in Notepad, but I became a convert when I realized that I could customize as much as I wanted and also gaining all the automatic that comes with using a CMS.
Many people only dabble in WordPress, or are intimidated by the interface.
