My friend Alex has a tree. It is his tree. Nobody else lays claim to this tree.
As it turned out, one of the reasons I became friends with Alex is that during his presentation at a San Diego Photo Club meeting, he showed his tree and I was probably the only person in the audience who knew the exact location of it.
Based on that, I suggested we go out shooting and hiking, and he put up with this weird guy who wanted to hang out.
These are just a small sampling of my images of Alex’s tree. Many are tagged in my Lightroom catalog as “Alex’s Tree,” but I did share with him it was funny that his personal web Gallery for this tree is only called: Cottonwood Tree – Lake Henshaw.
