Going back to some very old images, this is my December 2004 Photo Of The Month. A Winter Checkerboard was made with what would be considered a very antiquated digital camera. This image was taken with my good friend James Arriola on New Year’s Eve on a quick trip to Zion National Park.
This was an enjoyable trip because it is rare to see Zion National Park during a snowstorm that is still open to vehicular traffic. This may not be a true portfolio piece, but it was one step along the journey in developing my love for photography.
